Well I know nothing about anything, but...
It needs more volyme to the drums, a bit more power to the kick. The beat should run also through the vocal-part. Ööh eeh hmm... I have no idea. Some kind of a peak after that two minutes with a driving beat and then a bit of that and this and so on. Sorry, I have no idea... My advice is to drop it...

Don´t drop it, man!
I don´t like the beginning very much, but I do like the part starting at 1:15.
But I gotta agree with the drums.
They need more power.
Work more on the drums and then on the melody...play with it around...try some things out...change the bassline...whatever.
Put some more variety on it and it might work fine.
And if you really don´t get any further with it then leave this track like this and use it for an intro or something.
But don´t waste it, dude! |

In my opinion the beginning is what you should drop... Sorry mate
Hmm well okay, it's just öhm... The melody. And the piece evolves too slowly. Unless you're making a 11-minute ambient-piece, it needs to evolve faster. I mainly meant you should drop the structure, not the whole piece. And if you like the beginning, why note make a relaxing tune just out of the beginning and drop the rest. ('Cause they don't fit together, I think.)
Yep, I'll just shut up now. |
