Just read through it, looks like a hoax. He gets way too much money for this. Paypal donations, clickthrough money, metropal money...I'm not buying this.
He does seem to make some expenses on the bandwidth though. The total site is 44kb. A regular hosting provider will give you roughly 10 gb traffic for 10 euro's per month. Let's say people come back from time to time, so with 1.8 million unique hits at the moment, that would be (roughly) six million pageviews (although a great number of these visits will have the page locally cached due to repeated visits). Nevertheless, that number times 44kb is about 264 gigabyte of traffic. If he had just downgraded the picture quality a bit 
Anyway, he's at 1.8 million already, so little chance that he won't win. |

I noticed something else to... when hitting the refresh button the counter auto jumps higher for some reason... and not just by 1 or so... but by a lot |

He's already over the 2 million. Probably mentioned on slashdot, digg or boingboing. Nevertheless, the counter he uses seems pretty lame and not able to discard ip-addresses. Not the most valid method to choose when there's a threesome at stake. |

I looked at the counter, "2,241,712". Hit F5, "2,241,934".
222 hits in 4 seconds? Yeah, uh, newsflash to Mr. ProbablyATotalDesperateJerkFace, "You are one sad, moronic loser."
