New song "Beautiful Erasure"

I did this in a few hours, and I must say...I like it. State your opinions: I love having my songs ground into dust so I can make them better.

1. Muddy the synths need to cover more of the spectrum.
2. The intro lacks power (more hiFqs on the synth?)
3. The drums: More powerful samples, and a clear rythm.
4. And the song progresses to fast to be efficant.

Theres potencial in this, work on it! Smile

OK, I'll try.

You don't consider it ready yet, do you? Hope you don't. Well, the melody QUITE strongly reminds me of a certain theme from a certain movie, that's bad. The atmosphere with the (what's this!?) six Superwaves is full and sounds nice, but at the same time the song is quite monotonic to my taste. I also think it should flow better. And though it doesn't matter in this track, I usually don't like having the output of six VSTs in the same track. Overall the melody is what bugs me the most, I don't like it Wink

Ah... comme'on Axel F rules!

Okay, to be honest, i don't like it at all, but here are some sugestions:
- Spread the vst's over more chanels as Ravana said.
- Try to lower the peaks witch are produced by the synths with automation or a nice compressor.
- Get yourselve a new base drum
- There are more free Synths than Superwave
- Get rid of so many leadsounds it makes the song sound like trash
- Use the mixer to mix the different sounds into apropriate volumes.
- NEVER(okay okay allmost never) let the master chanel clip!
Good luck

Wow. Lets see...higher frequencies during intro...deeper drum with longer reverb perhaps...change around a few leads, take some out...maybe a tad too busy in some parts. Progresses too fast? I thought two extremely slow intro patterns and a tame third pattern was a little on the progressing-too-slow side of things. And I can't help it if you don't like the song itself, but I'll see what I can do...

Any websites with free plugins that would be good for this song?

Well, first and foremost it's a simply mt2 file, with a melody too much similar that "Axel Folly" (which likes me so much).

You have to bear in mind the fact that this song had no originally :

·Melody=Axel F.
·Strings/Bass=too much repetitive, which don't make good environment.
·Beats/Kick=same, too much repetitive, and, appart from "Kick", the hihats are too dirty (hihats&shake), you have to use more cleaned samples.

Appart from the originally, you have to improve the technical:

·Why did you post all 6Vst on Track01 ??? I think you have to spend some time whit each VST, and you'd better to give out the VST/VSTi around different Tracks.
·Use different VSTi(there are more than SuperWave), and try to use VSTeffects, there are a lot of free really interesting VSTeffects.

one thing ive found is triggering a bass note and kick at the same time is never a good idea unless they have frequencies stripped away so they dont clash, which hasnt been done on this track.

other than that, i like the melody, despite it being very very similar to axel f.

This is by no means my final product, it's just the barebones start of the song, so don't worry about that aspect. It's funny how all of my songs that I make up seem to sound almost the same as a song I've never heard before...maybe I'm cursed or something :O Anyways, I'm wondering what I can do to this song to make it not sound like Axel Folly (like I said I've never heard it)?

I would say your best bet is to listen to that piece. But in short: It's the melody.
