I download "Crystal VST", to listen some of madtracker 2005 Compo Mt2 entries.
Using this plug-in, sometimes madtracker "corrupted".. lets see...
I have 2Gb of memory on my pc, and when I use Crystal with "short sound" or "short notes", it runs oks!
but!!
...when I use it with long notes (without silences, etc), madtracker runs off, it "STOP". (I hope you understand me).

From pattern "00" to "0C" it runs oks.
Problems coming from pattern "0D" to the end of that mt2. (big problem on "0F", ""PATTERN 11""))

So are you talking about that peak in CPU usage? I remember it having something to do with erm Pentium 4 and ehm something... But then again I might as well be wrong here.
