New to madtracker:How to go about creating a loop?

I have been fishing around in madtracker trying to get used to its interface for about a week. I was wondering if anyone could take me through the simple process of creating a loop?

A loop in a sample, or a loop in an instrument envelope or a loop in a pattern, or a drumloop, or...? There are many kinds of loops in MadTracker Wink

A loop in a pattern would be fine at this point... actaully either of the loops at this point... I just need a jump start... Much appreciated.
