|
So I composed an intro (containing just a bassdrumless beat though), now you can grab it and continue composing it. You can't touch the patterns I made but you can put anything you like in the next (new) pattern. You can copy either of my patterns and introduce something new to it, or, if you must, you can ditch it, switch bpm if you like and introduce an techno bassdrum or whatever. Before you start working on it though, let us know before doing it so someone else won't be doing something to it at the same time. Only one person will have he's turn at the time. There's no need to use huge time on it, infact you can do 4 new patterns max on your turn. Then post the link to the newest version and someone else will continue it.
Don't be afraid to participate! Just for kicks, I personally don't give a shit what the result will be

Tip: upload each version on your MT.net account if possible since my server supports RAR file types. (I can't open RAR files directly with Firebird )
Not a big deal though!

Aahh, interesting. I've got a feeling it will work better this time than last time, as we now have massive 64 tracks in MT2 ...
This is not a message where I declare I will make something to the tune. If so I'll post a new reply where I say so.. .. Will listen to it now though

Downloading the current chain now.
This whole concept of a chain-song sounds really interesting Chain-letters, I don't like, but a chain-song is completely different.
I'll get back to yous about it asap
(ps: run for the hills. i may consider adding onto it =Ž) |

1,4kb??? Also it doesn't seem to open very well
There was "a last time"? What happened with it?
Yannick: I have less than 2mb left in madtracker.net so It probably won't fit there soon as it grows.
If it grows too big, I dunno if the samples should be "keep-on-disk" and only new samples would be in the song itself and the song and the old samples would be in separate files.
edit: Chigago you managed to download it? I'll try different browser.
edit2: Noticed that it must be left clicked. |

Yeah, I got it to work.
Don't right-click and save it straight from the board. You've gotta click normally on it, then it will bring up a download confirm page. That's when you can right-click and save it (or however you wish to save it)
Just a note though, I may not be able to get it online until tomorrow, so you won't see the addition for a possible 24 hours. See, this is the problem with being a teenager. Mother's orders first, and her orders are "GO TO BED!"
Grrr, I hate those words... grr... |

*blanches* Ack!! *hides*
...
*stops being a ninja tree for a second* You mean, not even the ever hopeless "But mum!" ?
*goes back into ninja tree mode* "I am a ninja tree, you cannot see me! Mwahahahahahahahahaa...ha?"
You know, I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (yes I believe in the letter o very much) close to staying home. But alas, Geography isn't a good enough excuse, and thus I am currently at school at the time of posting this message.
Expect to see the next addition upon GeoCities (eugh) in 6 to 7 hours |
