In Finland we have this thing called "kirjasto", which roughly translates to "library" in English. You have something like that there? Honestly I don't get why nowadays people want programs for everything that's available in the library for free. I assume you have one there too?

library is 5 minutes cycling :O
How dare you to make me tired |

First take a beginners course with a live teacher. Then find a TV show that speaks the language you're learning and perhaps subtitles in your native language. Also, like Ravana said, goto the library, get some books in said language and start reading (with a dictionary close at hand). That's how I would do it, but I can't say if it's the best way... |

sacrifice a virgin in you living room, while you listen to crazy frog at max volume, and dance around in your favourite banana hammocks. that would surly make the devil appear and then all you have to do is to sell your soul. but then again if you own a copy of crazy frog you probably already sold or was born without a soul, so I don't really know any good way apart from the tips above. maybe buy one of those girls online from the decired contry... |

Well depends on how much you wanna learn of it.
I guess the best is having a class with a teacher etc.
Or try to get some cd´s where you gotta repeat what they say.
Swedish - NL (or english) dictionary is helpful too.
But the best thing imo is taking classes. |

I guess getting sources for Swedish aint a very big problem, huh?
I wanna take Urdu classes for years.
But as it´s an unpopular language its even almost impossible to find a german/urdu dictionary.
Let alone classes.
Oh...Urdu is to 95 % similar to Hindi.
Spoken in India/Pakistan...my dad never taught me and now I gotta see how to learn it. |
