Thank you madtracker… but why? Well, let me explain. First please forgive me for my bad English but I will try to make myself as clear as possible Here follow’s an emotional story
About 7 or 8 years ago I started making music using scream tracker (and later fasstracker) as my instrument. Stupid Hardcore & trance tracks followed. Nothing special but I was addicted! Years past and I developed my tracking skills hoping one day to release a track on a label. But, I was not very talented because my demo’s disappeard in the trash cans at the records companies… Later I started using madtracker but with NO results…
The motivation was gone and other things got my attention. But 2 years ago I visited the madtracker.org page. Madtracker was VST compatible…. I did not know what a VST was but I installed the latest version. I was addicted again and not much later I produced a song which I found release worthy. Again a demo was send and Yes… The contract was signed! The first release was a fact.
Now I have 4 solo releases and made a lot remixes which all came out on explosive records. 3 of my own productions even made the top 5 of the belgian dance chart! My name grows by the moment and I almost can’t keep up with the dj bookings.
All because of Madtracker… Last week I registerd. Actually very late but I wanted to support the madtracker organisation… At this moment I’m thinking of making a switch to cubase of logic, but I can’t leave my old love behind… So thank you madtracker for making this all possible
