I'd say fire would win, because Ice can only seriously affect fire after it has melted and become water (after which it would suffocate the fire).

If the ice mutant temporarily can become a water mutant, then the Ice mutant would probably win due to it being able to suffocate the fire. That is, unless the Fire mutant is an oil fire, in which case ice/water would only make it stronger Wink

Do the mutants have like some special powers? I have mostly been dealing with elementals, so mutants are a bit vague for me.

But with a quick thought and withour knowing their special abilities I would say fire mutant would win.

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

big andy mac says:

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

big andy mac says:
im an "ice (and temporarily water if needs be, and also fireretardant foam sometimes) mutant"

big andy mac says:

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

big andy mac says:
all mine are ice related (the foam is water based)

big andy mac says:

Bewesy - THATS NUMBERWANG! says:

faja would win fo sureee

I mean, if your a ice mutand, you can't just change into water. Your energy would only come from ice, so if you change into water that means your dead...

But you have to remember that ice is water, just at a lower temperature. So becoming water is only a matter of getting worked up about something (getting hot in other words). You'd probably get pretty worked up if there's a fire mutant throwing flame balls your way Wink

hehe tricky one. I admit I gave my vote to fire at first but... I mean ice can stay ice forever in theory, but fire has to constantly draw power from something. Even the sun will die over time, so I guess I'll have to change my vote from fire to ice.

Couldn't resist replying to this one with the following beautiful poem:

Robert Frost (1874–1963). Miscellaneous Poems to 1920. 1920.

2. Fire and Ice

(From Harper’s Magazine, December 1920.)

SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
