|
Howdy everyone
ive been working on improving my knowledge of synths and started on synth 1. ive made 12 patches which ive decided to share with you all. ive also stuck in an mp3 demo of what the patches sound like, and cos im such a generous soul ive included the mt2 which has all the sequences in it. all apart from wobble trance and supersaw are my own tracks (wobble is take me away by 4 strings, supersaw is superstring by cygnus x). if anyone wants to remix feel free, but let me know you are.
heres the link for everything:
www.am-1.co.uk/AM-1_Synth1_patches.rar
if this is helpful for anyone let me know and ill happily do more (in other synths as well).
cheers

ok i've increased the original bank to 32 patches:
http://www.beatproject.co.uk/patches/synth1_am-1_bank_32.rar
theyre trance oriented generally and youll need the latest version of synth1 (see the readme).
let me know what you think. and if anyone has any suggestions for vsts they want patches for let me know.
cheers

Thank you very much.
When I first started with Madtracker Synth1 was one of my favorite VSTi's and it still is today. I experiment a lot with it, and some sound you've created in these patches are similar to ones I (once) made. But some sounds in this... I couldn't even imagine doing it with Synth1. So thanks, I'll look carefully and try to copy it, and eventually make some cool sound (perhaps even cooler, who knows ).
You're the man Andy (but you probably hear that every single day ) |

Synth 1 is definitely the best free synth available for free !
I'll check your patches right now.
If you want more, I suggest you to download Anne "Nolwenn" 's patches from >>her website<<
Or directly here :
Bank 1
Bank 2
Bank 3
Happy Synth1-ing ! |

How do you save a sound you've created yourself? I've made sounds but i immediately export them and I want to save them as a bank. |

i made a new directory in my vst folder, then went to opt on synth 1, selected the new directory as bank 1 location. then saved the patches as i went by clicking write.
tnk - thanks for that link it looks brilliant. i cant say im anywhere near that good yet, but i love making my own sounds. any more links like that would be great.
nine - thanks mate glad you like them. the reason i started making patches in synth 1 was to learn synthesis. it seemed like a good place to start. i reckon ill be making a lot more, its a really nice synth to use. |

I'll probably post mine too very soon, but they are far from having as many, as various and as good as Nolwenn's ones (I had a complete computer crash that made me loose all my presets, but I still have them in my various songs, so I can compile a bank from them again) |

maybe we could get a section of the site dedicated to patches for vsts, if enough people contributed of course. or at least a thread anyway. new sounds are always great for inspiration and sharing them, especially in this community seems like a great idea for helping people progress their music. looking forward to hearing your patches mate. |

I totally agree with this. Patches are not big files, so storing them should not be a problem. |

I think you are right. I use Synth1 most because I want to create my own sounds, not some powersounds that where premade. Synth1 is pretty basic for sound synthesis, but perhaps by the basics you can learn a lot more from other VSTi's. Well, I do.
Can't wait to hear a song from you with just Synth1 sounds. |
