Elijah - Stays The Same
and it was all one take. but i just wanted to get the song done...
My condenser used my mixer's dsp for reverb and the electric guitar used my pedals fx. enjoy.

Lyrics:
V1:
Well you may be stackin' dollars
but it sure dont make no sense
that your road to happiness
is paved of present tense
you say 'if i could have this one thing,
it would make me a better man'
but the truth about this one thing
it doesnt matter in the end
CH:
and you know you want it to change
but it always stays the same
and you know you shouldnt complain
but you still do
and you look up to the sky
like the answer's in the night
you shouldn't get surprised
when there's no reply
V2:
Little sister
did mother teach ya
to stay in situationships like this
she ran away and so should you
but you say maybe this is the last time
he will put his hands on me
and im sitting here with my hands tied
so what the hell do you want from me
Pre:
and you know its hard to say
but things will always be this way.
Chorus (x2)

SIDE QUESTION: if you save a file to mp3? is it like compressing to zip? where you can somehow decode it back to wav format with no loss?
thx. |

Nice track dude .
I love the rough edges on your vocal, the minimal/semi unplugged feeling on this one is great !
Although i think the mix is a bit off , but i think it is a great base for a great track !
keep those coming dude ! |
Music ... is endless ... Work in progress ...

when you were asking about your voice you should have posted a track like this.
your voice reminds me a little of ray lamontagne, which is great imo. really nice song as well, it has a blues feel to it.
anyway, i think its awesome. please post more like this. |
