Well, this sure kicks my early songs but a far throw. That said there's lots of room for improvment.
1. You use effects that do nothing. It doesn't affect the sound (0200 is 02xx where xx is the important parameter) but I thought you should know.
2. Sometimes harmonics are slightly off. I think theres a bassline that's bad.
3. Too long, too little variation. The song stays the same all of the time and is kinda boring after a while.
Work on your stuff! You'll be able to make good music in no time wiht progress like this. |

yah. this is good progress for sure, man.
i agree with the little progression, but i can also appreciate it, as it played twice and i didnt even notice. it's kindof a zoney out song.
but thats just it, nothing seems to happen, which is ok with chillout and its all based on your intentions with the song.
keep at 'er meng. i cant wait to hear more.
your melodies are becoming more strong though... in 'through the stars' they didnt seem to go with the progressions at all, but now i can hear some congregating in the works... keep on it. |

Thanks Frazze! Oh the effects, yes. Thanks for the tip! LOL, I wasn't sure though. It would be good if there is info on what each digit is for other than for delay reverb, setting parameters and so on.
I think I will remix this tune and I have an idea. Thanks Elijah, I was tryign to make it more fluent, but I also do see some of the bassline problems. This is actually getting very fun ha! Its nice to have experienced trackers, because a little guidance goes a long way for me, I tend to learn backwards it seems. But all criticism is welcome
Thanks all. |
