so I was wondering how to number the effect so that it plays smoothly over any bpm. not sure if this is possible in mt. ok to be clearer:
C-4 == == == ====
C-4 == == =9 0008
C-4 == == =9 0010
C-4 == == =9 0018
C-4 == == =9 0020
C-4 == == =9 0028
C-4 == == =9 0030
ect...
the above doesn't work.
I was wondering how to figure it out for any bpm. I'll work on the math but if any one can save me the work that would be great.
I would use this mostly for beat chopping and the like. |

don't use 09, use 90 instead:
Quote: |
90 XXYY Set sync. offset
If the sample is synchronized:
X
Got to beat X
Y
Offset in the beat (in Y/256: 0 = begin of the beat; 80 = middle of the beat; FF = nearly the end of the beat)
Else:
X
Divide sample in X parts
Y
Go to division Y

you can handle the samples more precisely this way, if you want to cut it up to 32 parts and want to play the sample from the 16th then you simply write:
C-4 1 == == 90 2010 |
