 |
I wonder if it would be possible to create some boards in some additional languages? Maybe French or in German.
Although IMHO my english is not that bad, i'd like to discuss some problems in my mothertounge, because it is easier to find the right expression then
That's why i'm going to start this poll. maybe there is somebody else who'd like to talk in their mothertounge? |

Maybe when doing a facelifting of this site? (a resolution of at least 1280 x 800 would be great )
IMHO adding a new board takes less than 2 hours.
(copy an paste ), but i think - when it is allowed - we may start with some mothertongue-topics first.
But you are right, it only would make sense, if there are enough user in a forum.

You should really have Scandinavian in the poll.
Anyway, two reasons for not having more boards.
1. As Chief said, we're not that many people on the forum.
2. I don't know about you but my swedish music terminology sucks. I don't get half what people say because I've learned it all from tracking and the programs are in english. |

Yes, you are right, because many musicans are from there.
but when i regognized that by myself, it was too late to change the poll. I'm very sorry about that

1. yes, unfortunately. compared to the renoise-forum, the madtracker community seems not to be very chatty. that stinks.
2. ok, you learn nearly everything you have to know by using the tracker.
i don't want to talk in german terminologies. my problem is a missing manual due to the fact that i'm new to Madtracker.
i used working with Octamed soundstudio before, and although it is almost 10 years old, it offers some basic features i sorely miss on madtracker (or i haven't found them yet).
For example, i'm working on a remix of resurection at the moment i've been looking for the commands of a simple volume slide for more than an hour now, and i still haven't found it yet. (i mean simply set the start- and the endvolume and let the tracker do the rest).
the helpfile doesn't work properly on my computer and although there are lots of very good tutorials here, i'm a little bit annoyed of connecting to the www every time for struggling through hundreds of different web-sites. that takes too much time.
i'd prefer a simple PDF-Manual instead of that. (sorry bout the OT, but i'm a little bit angry at the moment and sometimes i regret my 40 € )
and now BTT: so, i thought maybe i should find some help here in the forum.
The reason why i asked for a mothertongue-board is only the reason than i'm better in expressing my problem in german than in english
but you are right... implementing things like that in a moribund forum is senseless... I'm very sorry to hear that |

Well, you really gotta spend some time with Madtracker.
Very often for the most simple things you need some time to find them.
But that´s the process most of us been through.
Just be patient, keep practicing, take your time...I´m sure after you r quite into most of the functions of MT you´ll never regret you 40 bucks again...lol.
Well, I never did, at least.
Edit: And the community is quite good here...even it ain´t active anymore like it´s been...let´s say...2 years ago, but you´ll mostly find help in here when u got questions.
