Midi in madtracker

Hi!
I have connected a midi keyboard to madtracker but i have some delay and late response after i press the keys.
The notes get recorded at wrong places. Is there a way to solve this problem ?
I have changed the delay settings but that didnīt help me.
I have an Asio 2.0 soundcard so that would be the problem.

Best regards Conny

Sounds like a latency problem. What soundcard do you have?

I have the same soundcard and the problem is i cant run the Asio 2.0 driver in madtracker, because when i use it, all mutes. Maybe the Juli@ asio driver is incompatible with madtracker?

Try to run another driver in MT...

Hi !
So you also have the juli@ soundcard ?
I can use the asio2.0 part of the soundcard, but when recording midi, the notes end up at the wrong places.
I will try to use an other driver in madtracker and see what happens.
I also seem to have some problem with the graphics some times in madtracker.

that ASIO thing in MT2 is quite tricky and it has "character". the things which may affect:

the driver settings, the driver itself
and the OS you use also.

Try what works and do not try too much optimize becouse MT seems to work only in certain configurations.
On one machine it even does not start properly...

I had different problem -- the MIDI OUT was fuzzy and it skipped the messages. Also, the problem was ONLY with MT2.
The solution was quite weird -- I just changed ASIO buffer size to "specific" value, and to me it just works perfect with no less and no more than 528 samples! if it was more or less then it had problems!
The sampling rate did not had such effect. The thing to me was with M-audio series, both Delta and audiophile card.
Just "funny"... I had just track which had ONLY midi messages to send and the ASIO buffer size had effect to MIDI OUT buffer, and ONLY ONE BUFFER SIZE was correct.

I hope it will be some hint to you.
