|
..this is becoming the bane of our lives.
the clicks ARE NOT on the original samples, and they appear randomly, ie one mix of a track will have ess clicks than others, and in different places!!
can someone please advise us what on earth is going on and
how to cure it.
its not like the PC is short of RAM, with 1.25 gigs worth, hard disc space 120 gigs worth, or procesor power - 1.8 gig Athlon.
thanks |

It might be one (or several) of the vsts that you are using. Often random noise is implemented in shareware editions. You will have to buy the vst in order to get a "noice-free" copy. Try disabling one vst at a time in order to find out which one it is, and try replacing it (or buy it) with a free vst.
Hopefully this helps you. |

I kind of remember having had such a problem with mt2 some time ago. I think it had something to do with 1) the buffer size that was selected in the properties and/or 2) with one of the effects that I had applied to the tracks (reverb?!). Here I played with the settings, too, and somehow I got rid of the clicks. Good luck! |
