+ Arrangement: very very original
+ Instruments: fit perfectly
- Mixing: the balance between kick/bass and the rest is not good. Sounds like you wanted to improve that by setting some compressors. Unfortunatly in that case that leads to overcompressed bass, muddy mix and way too quiet volume.
- the track is way too long and monotone. It gets boring pretty fast due to that.
Before you start to mix you track with FX like compression/stereo expansion and so on, you should take care of the balance. That means: check if the volume of each instruments fit to the others. If one instrument is too quiet, do NOT boost it, lower the volume of the other instruments. The 2nd thing is, bass belongs into the center. Of course it has some nice touches to play around with the stereo field of the bass but generally that screws your mix up. There are gazillions of mixing tutorials out there in the web. Read them
Sorry for the hard words and thank you a lot for your always kind words |

How Dare you !!!
lol, that's good feedback, I was kind of jamming when i did it, so it was recorded in one track, I will try to re-record it, in a shorter version and not jam, but record every single track apart from each other and then adjust the volume and see if i can punch the kick/bass so it wouldn't be so muddy.
No hard feelings at all, keep up the fantastic tracking |
