Of course you can, simply plug it in via usb and start madtracker and select your driver of choice.

If it has only midi out you have to buy a extra tool where you can plug your midi out - midi in and connect it via usb to your computer and select the driver of choice.

With the midi-interface i mean something like this:

There are other ways too besides USB.

Do you have a soundblaster card in your computer? or do you have a built it soundcard which has a gameport on board (so called joystick port)?

then you need a specific converter MIDI to gameport. LIke this one.

about what is gameport you can read here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_port

and whats MIDI ports to do with it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_port#MIDI_connectors

Besides there are also cards which already have MIDI ports included, like m-Audio Audiophile 2496 which is a good price/feature rated card with low latency ASIO in my opinion. |
