Fake guitar solo

I recently uploaded an E-minor backing track to my YouTube channel (intended for guitarists to solo over):

Here's a 'fake' extended guitar solo I constructed using MadTracker and it's native effect commands:

Downloadable MP3 (high quality - 320kbps)

I used Amplitube 3 for the tone, with one of my own presets.

Regards,
David.

Just uploaded the "fake solo" audiotrack to my YouTube channel:

UPDATE: The original soundtrack has now been replaced with one that sounds better

It's also currently available for download from here:

The clean (i.e. non-distorted) solo was made with MadTracker and then exported to Renoise where it was then 'fed' through Amplitube 3. Unfortunately, Amplitube 3 isn't compatible with MT. Sad

I've uploaded the .MT2 file to my FTP area, and it's quite big: the uncompressed file size is 76.8 MB, and the main reason it's this size is because it contains 4 large MT instruments of guitar note multisamples (IIRC, I sampled each note on the fretboard four times).

The MT2 file (33 MB):

EDIT: (20.09.2011) File (solotrack.zip) now removed from my FTP area in order to free-up space (which is very limited).

Regards,
David.

Yes, sorry about that! I knew I should've checked before posting the link.

It should work okay now.
