As some of you know, I haven't been making house or trance for a couple of months, but today I got a sudden blast of inspiration and began working on a progressive house track. Download this and give me some feedback.
More house to the people!
PS: It's only a preview so I'd appreciate if noone gave any comments on the sudden end. Any other comments are welcome! |

SPeaking of house, I'm working on an oldschoolish acid house track for the forthcoming compo. Seems like more ppl than me is going back to their roots.. Or for me, one of my roots

Really minimalistic house. Really proffesional sound! Cool thing with the step filter thing, that you get a more bright sound a bit longer into the tune. Nice square wave line, makes a "higher tempo" to the tune.
Sorry for my really "tired" english. I'm a bit ... hrm .. "flummig" as it's called in swedish, you know what I mean Myztique.. |

great track man! almost exactly the kind of stuff i spin these days- except with less bongoes..
though everything to me sounds awesome, i still feel the need for a deeper bassline..
none the less, a very interesting prog tune..

I know the bass is a bit weak, but this one won't go deeper thn this. I've tried adding another bassline beneath it, but it just seems to wreck the atmopshere imo. I kinda like it as it is. We'll see what I can master later
EDIT: I've uploaded a updated version on the same link. The bass is now deeper and the track is now 6:30 min (6mb). |

oooooohh!! *mikx is squirming in his seat* .. this is just dying for some kind of tribal remix!
i really like this track man, even though i still think it needs a deeper bassline.. and some bongoes.. and a weird voice sample ...
but hey, progressive is how you want it, and progressive is how it is.. still good! nice and tranquil, good depth on the ambient sounds.. i'll call it blunted progressive house..
well done! (btw is it finished?)

Nah, I'll put some more effort in it. I really want some voice in it as well to make it a bit more wicked, and after the break at 4:33 there should be more stuff happening, so I'mm gonna add a few things, so it keeps going strong instead of fading out. The thing about the bass is that it sounds too deep in my headphones and too weak in my speakers. I guess I'll have to wait until I get this to mastering before I can be sure of how it really sounds... Anyway, thanks for the feedback! |

It's definetly a cool tune Not much more to say, perhaps the percussions are a bit too sharp (too much high frequencies), but I guess that's something that one can fix in mastering |
