More precision in the instrument window for the pitch. I don't know if I am asking to much already, but this is what I think would be usefull for trackers. More important is that it is annoying to slide the line of the pitch to what amount you exactly want. What I mean is that you maybe could put some buttons along to reach the last bits to make your loops loop optimal. If you are saying that I should adjust the speed of my mouse, I will ask you to please make the sliding thing less sensitive

Just do like this, click once on the slider so that the whole field gets "marked" then just use your kayboard arrows to go one step the way you whish to go, easy as that... |

So, there IS a MadTracker 2.5, and it WILL have all that cool and fancy stuff you mentioned?
Don't you hate it when you've been fooled twice over? Heheh... |

Hmm , also a midi export thingie would come handy.
Remixers always ask for the midi .
IF possible then this would be great |

At first a big hello to all of you!
I've visited this site randomly to see if there's any progress in MT3... and now THIS! GOOD decision Yannick!
This could REALLY make me come back to MT, since I have been using hardware synths and sequencers only for the past few years (temporary, due to lack of a "fat PC").
Now I have a "fat PC", and now this. If MT 2.5 (or whatever) will have the key features of VST like big sequencers, I will kick Cubases' Ass definitely.
An important thing will certainly be the MIDI compatibility, esp. SYNC.
Well, greatly looking forward,
LoneStar
P.S. Special greetings to all my old friends in here |

Did I hear Ventrilo in MT3? =)
Hehe, I'm evil.
Just when Yannick finally turned to the bright side and implemented a wellsought feature, that of VST, if you still haven't got it, I fire away another bomb at him...
What about Ventrilo in MT?
Since IRC already made it, how about the next step?
And so the avalanche starts... |

@ Lonestar & everyone else interested:
The MadTracker Chainsong 2002 can be found at http://quinone.madtracker.net/mt2/mtchain2002.rar. Goo' ol' Lonestar was one of the participating heroes back then. I stumbled upon that track when I was reorganizing my hdd. We might consider making a pool of free vst's and creating a new one to celebrate the revamped MadTracker
Inge
ps: my chain goes to participant 14 (Lonestar). Did it stop there? |
