|
a block looping option!!!!
This is essential for drum rolls & fills. For instance in Renoise you can loop from position 00 - 16, 16-32, 32-48 or 48-64 of the pattern so you can perfect each instrument perfectly.
Cheers. |

Something that would also be very nice is a pattern orgenizer window, or just being able to move the patterns up or down in the pattern playlist(I think Octamed had this function).
Another thing is pattern nameing(more convenient than #)

Yannick uses *odd* colors My beta simply has the platinum color scheme, and all other gui improvements really look very nice. Just wait and see

This is great news for madtracker!
It will be cool to see how madtracker 2.5 will turn out.
@Json
About that Edirol and Hypercanvas does not work in Renoise:
It is not Renoises fault.
Its how Edirol and HyperCanvas work, they wont save the program changes in any vsti host, you have to save and load the manually.
Trying to fix that in madtracker would only be wasted time, as it can't be fixed in any host program, the only ones who can fix this is edirol. |

Whoa!!!
This really made my day, I can't wait until it is released.
This is really cool since I have recently gotten into a period where I feel like I'm growing out of madtracker and I have been looking into other programs, though I really like madtracker and would really like being able to use it for certain things (drum programming and the complete control over samples it gives you). And a rewire-style sync is exactly what Ive had wet dreams about
Its gonna be really exciting making music again. |

some questions to Yannick:
will we be able to use effects in fx column for VSTi?
will we be able to hear the notes during inputting them? or we will need to run song to hear the sound? |

Right on.. cant' wait :>
Well ive never used these vst things, suppose ill take
the approach ive taken with mt2 effects; which is to
make sure the module is nice in ft2 mode then go to mt2
mode, now ill have another mode after that one :>
So, did this involve re-writing mt2 in OO-style? |
