Hi all...
I've been a tracker on and off for a couple of years. Today I just DL'ed the latest MadTracker (2.5rc3) and found, to my delight, out that I could use the MIDI samples from my soundcard. However I cannot export them to wave... and yes I DO have the Pro-edition
Am I missing something? Is there a switch or thingy I have to enable, to export the midi sounds as well? On another note, does the MT2-file contain the soundfont used for creation of a song?
MadTracker is one kick-a** piece of software, hats of...
Best regards to all (but esp. to Yannick)

this is because the midi sounds are not included in the actual module as a vst or a sample, which means that you have to sample them just like an external midi device...

Hi C-Frog and Zero!
@Zero: Are you using soundfonts (SF2)? Then you could try SFZ.
@C-Frog: Does MT2.5rc3 supports exporting Soundfonts into WAV format (using sfz-vsti)? I havent tried that out yet, but if it works it could be a solution for Zero`s problem. |
