Its a different kind of hard rock, or just is hard rock. Sounds pretty good overall. Tell me what you think. |

Oh man, this was wierd ... Quite nice though, but personally I think it was hard to grip on something in the tune. It feels like everything just fly by while the theme is only repeating. Cool anyway

I like the beginning a lot. The guitars sound great. Is that you playing or are they samples? Great work as usualy NON. How did you get the slowing down/speeding up effect? Did you do it in another program or Madtracker? That is something that I have been wanting to do in one of my songs, but I didn't really know how to go about doing it within Madtracker.
I am still loving that remix of my Space Rock song that you did. It gets better with every listen. I have another song in mind for you if you are interested. I have been messing around with it for days and can't seem to get it right. Maybe you can work some of your structure magic on it. Just let me know.
Later,
David |

Well, I have a room mate that play's guitar, and recorded some of his riffs. But just like every song I write/arrange, its all done in Madtracker. The speeding up and slowing down are just time signatures. Its pretty simple, just go from 4/4 time to 3/4 time and tada or something of the like. Its kind of hard to get used to doing the switch cause you dont change the lpb, just keep it the same, but change the note placements and shorten or expand the pattern to create a seamless loop or to make a grooved loop(4/4 or 3/4 or any time with an additional measure/s or less measure/s), Its pretty much an off beat loop that is on beat because it's repeated within the correct timing. (I guess it's easier done then said, but if you heard it you'd know right away what it meant.) But yea the beat is alittle repetitive at times, but it gives it that real emotional (just angry music I think).
Thanks C-frog, and David Swain for the reply's.
Speaking of your song David Swain, I changed a small part in a space rock, toward the end. It really helped out that drastic quick riff change. You don't need to re-download the song, I can just export the pattern (*.mtp) and you can put it in. No new samples or anything like that so it should be really simple.
Oh yea, I'll work on the music, just need the file, but yea thursday i'll be free all day, so i'll just plage mirc with my presance. |

Hey NON,
I never got the original MT file, it was corrupted (I downloaded it twice and both times it came up corrupted). I think I sent you a PM about it, but I can't remember. Either way, that is awesome that you changed the ending, as that was the ONLY part that I wasn't totally happy with.
But yeah, I 'll look for you on MIRC on Thursday. I am going to be attempting "An Album in a Day."

So, I should be home all day.
Thanks again for the intial remix and for agreeing to take on another..you rock!!
Later,
David |
