Nastolgie combines elements and ideas of the Theme from Dr Who, Mission Impossible, and own input. Nothing really spectacular, but nevertheless a very nice listening experience that is more than worth listening a couple of times in a row.
The variations on the melodies, structures and sounds are well thought through. I can easily hear why Theo managed to get into the top 10 of the 2004 compo. It's just quality stuff that he lays down inside MadTracker.
Nastolgie only uses the samples and VST plugins that are shipped with MadTracker. It therefore is an excellent example of the musical diversity that can be created with MadTracker when it comes straight out of the digital box.
