Good: the main melody is outstanding. Call me easy, but this is just a plain good anthem-tune. Hybrid could make a really good breakbeat/progressive track based on this melody. The track furthermore contains this happy, er, happy hardcore-feeling that Scooter used to be able to induce. It only lacks the bad German-accent English nonsense mc rhymes to complete this image.
Bad: it's happy hardcore and due to that unnecessary blunt. The bassdrum sounds too aggressive with respect to the rest of the tune, which consists out of all these nice, warm, and fuzzy pads & strings. The bridge (0B - 11) is somewhat vague and empty. Maybe Future Tribe is still waiting for the mc lyrics to place there?
This song is great, the melodies are enchanting. But these things I would done diffrently:
- The Breakbeat, It's to weak to carry the songs rythmic image for as long as it's put out to do here.
- The Beats - I don't realy miss a über-disted kick but I do miss Snares and more percs to give a more intressting rythmic structure.
- Overall the song is kind of muddy.
Definatly worth a listen!
