Sounds like: Mexican/Latino hiphop

Good:
-Convincing sound with a professional blend. Pro work.
-The choice of components (Everlast-alike string guitar, bassline, dry beats, vocals) works very well.
-Good melodies. Liking them. Head is knodding. If I had homies, then I would smoke pot with them and listen this song.
-Raps sound credible.

Points of attention:
-The layered vocals (two? three? four?) sound garbled. It's like someone overused the delay fx on the vocals. Try getting them sharper.
-Some small variations on the beats would be amusing. It might be a bit *too* dry now. Furthermore, the hihat could be a bit more aggressive to keep the drive of the song going.

Ohh, some rap (spanish?). Not often we hear this in madtracker. I won't even pretend to understand what the lyrics are about, except when they suddenly turn over to english. I guess it's the same said as in spanish (about). But I'll say something about what it sounds like. :)

It's a calm tune, which I like. As often is the case with rap/hiphop the lyrics are the important ones, so it's a shame I don't understand them. The background melodies are pretty simple. It's the basic slow hiphop kick-snare-hihat combo with a simple bassline. The guitar melody is great. It's variating, it really works well with the rest of the tune and sets a great atmosphere for the tune.

I have a bit of a problem with how the chorus of the vocals has been done however. It's obvious it's been done by several people singing it, which is great. Better than to just copy paste and sligtly timeshift. However, sometimes I think the various voices shift a bit too much from each other. One says "hi" when the other is already saying "there". The result is that the vocals sound very messy in the chorus.
Another thing with the vocals is that they seem to go on and on without anything but a short break for taking a breath, a very short break. This sounds a bit as if the whole thing is sung in one breath (although it's not), which is a bit disturbing to me. By some weird psychological effect I more and more wonder when the singer is going to take a breath, instead of listening to the music itself.

Anyway, It's a cool tune, has a nice vibe. Really like the guitar. Although it was nice to include some english vocals, so more people could understand the song, I wonder if it was that smart musically. I'm not pulling any points for it though, but perhaps it would have been better to just write down an english translation of the lyrics. Now when the jump to english comes, the listener gets a bit thrown off.
But still, great work :)
