Thumping kicks and bass synths start off revival by beez

You've done a nice job with madtrackers effects, and the whole track flows realy nice, however you could add just a bit more sparkles.
You can try doing this by using some VST effects such as compression on you drums to get things pumping and some nice VST instruments as melody, this gives you more options to alter your sounds in your track since you can automate every parameter of the VST in question.

Try to experiment with the things and you'll be alright, because the arrangement is good!

Keep it up!

This track reminds me somewhat of acid trance tracks you'd hear in the early-mid 90's. Artists such as Marmion and Moby spring to mind. Unfortunately, this track doesn't quite match up in quality. The track sounds a bit muddy, probably due to it focusing a lot of it's sounds to the lower frequencies. Instruments that could have more clarity, lack it. The hihats and crashes for instance lack in clarity imo. The kick is perhaps a bit too loud compared to the rest of the track, but otherwise carries a good punch. I like the bassline also, it has that acid trance thing going.

This track was a trip down memory lane for me. I liked the oldschool bassline and overall atmoshpere of the track. Still, this track didn't ignight any sparks. It's fun to listen to, but not something I'll be going crazy about for weeks. It's biggest problem though seems to be low sample quality and/or poor instrument choices.

Nice trance/house track. Does not use all the modern technics MT2 allows (VSTs) but who cares in that case as the result sounds pro. The theme is repetitive but always evolving here and there and does not generate any boredom.

Within it's genre, it's not bad at all. While it's not very original, it's definitely working as a club track. And as you obviously wanted to create a club track, you can consider you acheived your goal. I would anyway not be surprised at all to hear your track in a club.

The arrangement is typical but very efficient, the mixing is perfect. No unwanted frequency overlaps, good use of the whole sound spectrum. Definitely some professionnal work.

If you want to stay in that club ambiance, change nothing, if you want to go mainstream, add some catchier melodies. But that's up to you and I'm not entitled to judge this.

Congrats, Mr DJ !

Also something that I'll probably copy-paste 3 billion times within this reviewing process : NAME YOUR TRACKS ! This would give your audiance and us judges a better view of how your track is built, will help newbies to learn how to use MT and to beat you in next year's compo :)

a driving hard trance track with some nice ideas but unpolished production.

originality - its hard trance - its been done a million times before.
theme - overall a good sounding track that has a good drive but lacks a few vital parts.
arrangement - first problem is the bassline plays virtually all the way through, using the current bassline as an intro/outro then having a different bassline for the chord stabs would make it more interesting. the breakdown is good, although could benefit from a big bass pad. the chord stab section is nowhere near prominent enough in the mix. other than that the structure is pretty good.
technical - good use of the built in fx, esp the reverb on the clap sounds good. the mix could have benefited from an exciter to make the top brighter, some eq to bring out the mid and get rid of the low end rumble (around 40hz i think is quite good), a vst for the stabs could have provided more flexibility and tweakability to get a more original sound although the use of automation on the cutoffs shows some tech knowledge.
quality - nothing is bad, but eqing the whole mix and adding in a few more perc hits would make the track a whole lot better.

overall a decent attempt hard trance which doesnt break any new ground but doesnt do anything bad either. with some work on the breakdown and some interesting fx added this would be a much improved track.
