A nice, compact and little tune from Frazze. Quite mediocre, since nothing is wrong or special about this track. Sound quality and programming appear to be flawless. The song might have worked better if the concept was transposed to another genre of music, since it now sounds like one out of a dozen.

Atumn colors by Frazze is a well-produced piece of laidback music.
What I like about this track is most of all it's transparant sound, this is perfectly done by using more delay than reverb, and by giving the delay's an 'out off sync' feel they add greatly to the laidback atmosphere.
The composition is good, there are several layers to pay attention to and you realy have to listen a few times before you discover them all, well done!
However, I kinda miss a certain sound or melody that realy gives some more depth to the track, there is the flute sound but it doesn't realy cut it on it's own, so try to layer that sound with some more instruments with some creative envelope twiddling.
But other than that point this tracks sounds great, keep it up!

A quirky little tune. I'm not quite sure where to put it. It sounds a bit sad, but that's probably because the main direction of the notes is from high to low. The track is interesting in a sence that the most variation seems to be going on in the background. What I would call the background pad is the one playing a soloish snippet at one point. The drums variate throughout the track. The only thing that's more or less constant is what I assume is the lead.
The mix is pretty solid imo. The only thing sound a bit weak perhaps is the bassline compared to the other instruments. The hihats are a bit weak also. That's probably mainly because the lead has a lot of frequencies in common with the hihat. Spreading the drums out into the stereofield a bit might solve this.
Overall, although a nice track, this track simply doesn't have it. For one, it's too repetitive. Second, the repetitiveness is caused by a sharp instrument which in turn makes it wear out even faster. The track is nice, but not much more.

Laid back drums, analog synth FXs, quite nice background melodies, nice little backing sounds... this one had it all to be nice entry... if only it had not this utterly repetitive and unoriginal lead melody (done with instrument #1 - synth arp). Could work as some rap background (atleast if sampled and used properly) and I think that if you had dared to rap in your tracks (C'mon, MC Frazze !) your entry could have been damn original...
If you are familiar to TV shows like "Pop Idol", you must have heard the jury telling the candidates that their perfromance was nicely done but that it lacks of feeling and a certain kind of magic one is required to provide to create some truely great music. Today, it's my turn to tell you this. The sound works, nothing is blury, but I feel no magic in your track.
My hint : Focus more on melodies and/or moodsetting. Or try some rap on such songs !

a relaxed ambient track with a melancholy mood and some nice touches.
originality - this is a fairly original sounding track overall, a nice combination of slow breakbeats, subtle pads and melodies.
arrangement - there is a decent amount of variation throughout the track with smooth transitions, and a good balance between sections (ie where the beat takes the front of the mix, then where the melody does, then where the pad does). the beat is the highlight of the track overall, with nice breaks, great use of samples and variation throughout which really keeps the listeners interest. the synth arp repeated for almost the entirety of the track and dominating the sound does start to get a bit wearing after a while. some fx, filtering for example would give this the variation it needs. also the delay was (to my ears) worse for being off time, maybe longer feedback on this would work better as well.
technical - some really nice touches, the drums in particular are very well produced, applying a compressor to the drum track overall would bring some of the quieter sounds to the front. the lead synth is ok, but a few more fx (reverb maybe) and a longer release time would probably have filled out the sound better.
application of some fx (in particular a compressor, a bit more reverb and some filtering) would have improved the sound significantly.
quality - nothing can really be criticised here, the samples are good quality, the drums are great, the lead synth as mentioned before with a bit of work would make all the difference but overall the track has a clear sound.
summary - a pleasant track with nice melodies, a good mood overall, superb drums and a flowing structure could be improved over all with application of some good effects and an improvement on the lead synth.
