Fat chance Adam Beyer would like to use this track for his mixing sets. The production of this techno track is definately okay. The overall sound is very transparant and airy, the drums are powerful and consist of unconventional samples, and the instruments used are rather refreshing. Non-techno listeners will probably hate this tune, since there isn't much happening in the track. The Kompakt- and True Soul-lovers out there will definately enjoy this one, and I belong to the second camp.

The Prodigy comes to mind when listening to Old milk by Lazzo.
The samples are realy nice and fit well together, you've done a nice job arranging the bit's together, but I miss a certain something. The whole track seems to be building up towards something that isn't coming.
But on the other hand that could just be the intention of the track.

nice track!
you'll get there!

Some twisted techno stuff going on here. I like the screetching/distorted lead. I like that it goes to notes that sound a bit wrong. It adds to the twisted feeling of the track. It's technoish, so repetition is on the menu. Not that bad though, as the track manages to keep things somewhat interesting and doesn't follow the path of 3 minutes this, 3 minutes that, end of story. This track has some small details also if you listen carefully. I think the small fx that play here and there could be brought out more without it having a negative effect on the overall.

The track lacks an energy though. It doesn't give me that psycho feel to dance my head off. It more just is. What this track imo would need is a well defined dark deep rumbling bassline to give the track some real floorshaking window ratteling power, because the one that is there now doesn't do it. Something in the lines of the Junkie XL remix of Infusion's track Legacy, or better yet Haak's Bass shuttle (also released under the name Born in space btw.).

Bottom line, if you're into this kind of music I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it. It's not something I'd listen to on a regular basis, but it had it's moments once I had listened to it a couple of times.

Experimental trance ?
OK, somewhat original, quite nicely arranged with some good (but not outstanding samples), however the theme is too symplistic and basic to please my ears. Definitely too repetitive 2 my ears (the pills required to enjoy that track were not available for download with your entry).

Should work in some underground raves however as the overall sound is well done, there are no obvious frequency clashes...

The weak point in this entry is the theme. Trance is not just a question of sounds & loops, it's also about some melody.
Maybe I'm not the right audiance for that track, which is obviously well built within this genre, but I think an effort could have been made on the melody.

Hint : Unless you want to stick to some very hardcore underground styles, build themes around your beats, let them evolve, let them live. Do not satisfy yourself with a very minimalistic sound.

Not my cup of tea, but might be other people's as it's technically quite well done.
