Electric is one of the four songs that Nathan put in one sort of rhapsody. The second one, Electric, is really a good song. The first thing that came in mind is the green album from orbital. All the elements appear for a oldschool techno feeling, including double claps, synthetic drums and swirling melodies and samples. A sort of singing saw is used, which I found most original, and the general atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. This song is actually one of the few that I will listen even after the compo, for having great melodies, a massive theme thru minimalistic sound and a huge originality.
To the artist; a very good song, with lots of feeling for mood, mix, instrument usage and structure. The only thing I could add is that you could maybe use some more fx for atmosphere building and some variation on the drums (for instance another analog kit during the bridge). Furthermore nothing to complain, just happy with the song!
