First thought was "cool, let's have some chiptune game music shall we". Then the hard reality hit me, nope no cool chiptune.
I hate to say this, but this tune sounds a bit like some of my first productions, and that's not a compliment btw. There is no red line in this tune, something to follow. It more or less sounds like a collection of loops aranged in some kind of manner. No atmosphere to speak of.
Sample selection, what can one say, alot of improvement is needed IMO. Some samples don't fit togheter at all. It's more like Lollie found a cool sample, added it to the tune, found another cool sample, added it to the tune. Instrument 09 is an example of such a sample. It doesn't fit at all with the rest of the samples. On top of that it sounds detuned.
The bassline running around from one channel to the other in the stereofield is a bit annoying. It makes the tune tip a bit from one side to the other constantly. I'd keep low frequency sounds pretty much in the middle, and use panning on sounds in the higher frequency range, keeping in mind though that every sound in one channel needs something in the other channel to balance it out. Otherwise the tune would sound tipped to one side again.
The "lead" melody, well, those combinations of notes have been heard pretty often.
The ending, hmmm, abrupt. A bit as if Lollie suddenly decided "nope, ain't gona do it no more. This shall be it".
On a positive note, on a couple of instances there's a pretty nice beat going on. Almost a bit happy hardcore'ish, at about 1:50 forward a couple of loops for instance.
One thing has got to be handed though, it's a pretty original tune in the way it's arranged :) Sadly, I don't think that was the intention with the arrangement.
Finally, I hope you still continue doing music, Lollie. Some advice would simply be to listen to alot of music, hear how things have been solved, and spend more time on sample selection. And practice ;) Eventually you'll get there also :)

I felt really sad listening to this. An antinatural mix between a tolkien string theme, a techno beat and a froggy jump...
No FX at all, bad samples with a lot of sampling noise.
Absolutely no use att all of madtracker's built-in functionality.
Should have rate it 0, but I tryed to "forget about my musical tastes and judge the creativity and the skills of the author"
