This song this to be a tryout of the industrial area of techno. It is built up of a monotonic bassdrum and some effects, no melody, just simplicity. This is usually I style I like very much.

Unfortunately, the author hasn't made the effort to create a real atmosphere or some kind of drive that makes you move your feet - this song is really too simple.

The song has some potential, the samples are of good quality and the theme is also not bad, but it's too "thin" for more than a 3-4 rating.

There is a lot more to this track than the listener is able to pickup initially. Hellwich is creating a mood using industrial influenced progressive sounds and icing it with sweeps and vocals.

I can see by the way JD1983 has layed out his track, that he does know his way around a tracker. Despite the simplicity of the arrangement, samples aren't clashing and cutting out which would normally result in a pretty amateur sound. Good use of the stereo delay effects too, which helps give the track a little more body (thickness).

It's minimal and progressive - so it definately isn't going to appeal to everyone. The flow is there though, even though the transitions seem to lack a little bit of punch.

I can see what Hellwich was trying to do with this track. If he were to reconstruct the track using some brighter samples and see about adding a few other elements to help compliment the theme - you might see some detroit or gabber lovers take a liking to this one.

Keep it up!!

Hard to say, but here is my point of view : no bass, no lead... Only drums for an industrial techno beat, very repetitive (but I like this) and emotionaly poor may be. The samples set may seem hard to handle, but remember what we use to do with sound chip !!!

Finaly a good background that seems unfinished, it has place to add more arrangements and the use of supplied voices could sound as more desperate.

However, this deserves a medium notation both for the courage of being the first to post and for the fine background noises.

As this is my first notation with no competitors, it may be modified regarding the others tunes.

I was at first turned off by the constant bass-like sound. I am still not sure if the sample is supposed to sound crushed and unclear or not.

What I like most about this piece are the interplaying rhythms that occur throughout most of this song.

Hard to rate. I think the monotony is intention, but still the song needs more spice, not a good song to submit to a compo.
