A nice change to the otherwise very electronic music dominated tracker scene. This tune is a medley going through a couple of themes, that, according to the author, represents the music you'd hear in the twenties. I must say, I don't have much experience of music from the twenties, but the little I've heard had a close resemblance to the melodies heard in this tune.

The intro got me thinking of sunlit small village streets in France.
The next part got me thinking of a bigband dance.
The third part got me thinking of an old black and white movie about a roadtrip.
The last part got me thinking of the old Chaplin movies, where the girl would be looking mortified all the time.

The "low" sample quality in this case has two sides to it. On one hand, well, they're low quality samples, and I cannot help but wonder wether samples of higher quality might have helped give the tune some edge. On the other hand, the "low" quality makes the tune sound more authentic. Like it really was made back then. I say "low" because in reality they're really quite good considering the sample rate used. I can hear some hissing, typical for low quality samples, especially on the piano.

About the basskick in the second part. I think another type of sample should have been chosen here. This basskick has too much sub frequencies. Considering what type of instruments were used back then, and how the rest of the samples here sound, it doesn't quite fit with the rest. A basskick with a clearer highend, more of a snap than an oomph, would have been better I think.

I can't come up with much more to say about this tune. I like that it's different from what most people produce in a tracker. It's also a nice piece to listen to. I haven't gone tired of it yet, and I've listened to it 10-15 times soon.

Certainly not the kind of tune that collect all the votes.

But the choice of the instruments is good, giving everything a circus or big band sound.

It is well done over all mode considerations this deserves a good note.

I can ear a strange slide in the firsts patterns.

It is a composition strongly differs that I heard till now. Appreciablly, that you have concept about harmony and... Upsets another... Why such synthetic tools in a tango? Really it was impossible to pick up more alive sounds... More lighting. Also some incoherence in idea of a composition is felt.
