The Cat Route (From the Dusk City)

The title got me thinking of a certain training path that we had to run through in the army :) In this exercise we'd (two-member teams) have to sneak along a pre-determined path, with live ammo loaded in the assault rifles. Occasionally, targets would jump up somewhere in the woods and we'd have to spot them and shoot them down ASAP. One of the coolest exercises during the whole military training IMO. Anyway, the reason I'm telling all this is because this tune puts me right back into those woods, sneaking around, tension growing until you'd spot another "enemy". The tune, in other words, is sneaky, building up, suddenly bursting out, just to go back to sneaky again. Has it got an atmosphere? Hell yes! it might not put you in the woods with an assault rifle in your hands, but you're bound to get some images in your head with this one.

It's well produced also. The mix, the samples, everything fits very well.
One thing though, the use of the cleanup function could have been good. In this case it could have shaved of 500Kb from the filesize, something worth to consider if you release tunes on the net.

Got nothing more to say about this one. Beautiful work simply :)

There must be an angel with a curious throatacke! There are some false sounds in the first human voices. It may be may computer's pref for madtracker, so I tried changing filters & correction methods... It still remains the same so...

Rather interesting track... I see it as soundtrack to film. It is insulting that a theme on a background of the general sounding a little nooriginality and it is boring, but it is possible so it and should be.
