Hi there !
A little question:
I have a Creative Soundblaster Live installed and I can chose between the following sound output devices:
Primary Device
DirectSound on Primary Device
DirectSound on SBLive
SBLive Wave Out
I used to think that the SBLive actually IS my Primary Device. So what´s the difference between those outputs and which one should I chose ? They all work but the DirectSound is better (crackling sound when using Primary or SBLive without DirectX). But should I chose DS on Primary or on SBLive and what´s the difference ???
And by the way:
I have this error too:

...so what can I do ? You said you fixed it - but where ? I use MT205 RC5 and the Fix2 and I still have that error on Win98.

The "primary device" is to select the soundcard you selected as primary on your system. But of course it is redundant when you have only one soundcard. Choosing either that or SBLive will be exactly the same.
If you have any problem, reverting to a non-DX device should help.
About the error, it should be fixed, but will take effect in the RC6.
