 |
Hi folks,
I have a number of guitar chord samples that I would like to put into an instrument I have created called 'chordguitar'
I would like to assign each sample to a key so that it plays it at its true pitch as if I were listening to the sample in playback on a sound player.
I've tried changing base notes in the sample window but it is very time consuming. Can I just turn off the pitch change property of the instrument keyboard so that I am really just using the key as a trigger to play the sample in its original pitch?
Thanks in advance to this great community. |

What you can do, is that you tick the option 'synchronized' for the samples that should be used in their original pitch. This option can be found in the tab wave properties, in between instruments and vst. That way, no matter what note you use, the original pitch is used.
You can furthermore specify the note that MadTracker should assign by default to the instrument by adding the note in the filename. For instance, 'guitar_d4.wav' will result in the fact that MadTracker will assume the guitar to be using note d4 by default. Nevertheless, this function still allows a sample to get another pitch if another key is pressed. |
