It's because when using the offset command, the sample may not start on a zero crossing, this causes pops or clicks or whatever. Probably a fast attack in the volume envelope of the instrument could fix this. |

Walter beat me to it. if you can picture how it works in your head you should have no difficulty knowing why it clicks/pops. timestretching using sample offset is just a little hack, it's more of a curiosity than viable replacement for using the function in a program that has a routine for it. |

all i miss is command 90 xxyy (set sync offset) but other than that it`s a nice tutorial  |
