TUTORIAL Updated: New Section / Optimizing MT2 / effect list
Reply with quote

Hi everyone. Finally I could expand the tutorial a little. There is now a complete list of all tracker commands IT2,FT2 and MT2 and there is also an optimizing section. At the moment there are 3 optimizing tips I found in the forum by Sunbuster.

Hope its useful for you,

Regards

Thanks Smile I am glad you found it helpful!

@C-frog: I couldn`t agree with you more. On the A500 I started my music and graphical stuff. More music tho. A friend of mine got an unpublished version of Protracker. Those time it was handled like gold Smile That was my start in tracking. I loved DeluxePaint, also had a RGB-splitter and deluxe view hehe. Funny days. The games on the A500 have been and still are great. Loved Amberstar. But for some reason I stopped programming on the A500 since I never got a real start to it. I tried more machine language on the C-64 than on the A500. Smile Still have 2 A500s.

The first one was DigiPaint using the HAM mode but I think DeluxePaint IV supported the HAM mode too. But it was weird to draw in this mode.

What happens if you have more than one sample/instrument in a track? Actually, it's pretty easy to double click on a note in the track - it currently makes that instrument active.

It was the Goose-man... Smile
