How can I convert GIGA format samples into WAV files? I just bought a magazine called "Music Tech" which came with a DVD-ROM. It has two full piano instruments with all of their 88 keys "beautifully sampled" at three velocities. There are instructions for exporting to Kontakt, EXS24 and Halion, but I'm just using MadTracker so I need the samples in WAV format. I don't think that I've got any software that can handle GIGA format.

CDextract will do the trick here, I think version 4 is the latest one but I'm not that updated. It will probably work fine to export to soundfonts (aswell as wav files) with nice layers of samples. If you run in to any problems you could throw me an e-mail and I might be able to help out.
