hello.
i've been using madtracker 2 for a few years now, but it's just about now when i'm trying to run it on a laptop (compaq presario 4100) i've ran into a few problems.
this doesn't seem to work ok:
- changing the number of "ticks"
- the transpose window (checking the box & pitching does not work)
- typing in a value in the "track effects" boxes (i can change the value with a mouse, but not change it by typing in a new value)
- can't check the boxes or change the envelopes for volume/panning/filter
i think that's about it, off the top of my head.
i've also tried running mt2 on a dell inspiron 4100 & everything works fine there. dunno if this is a problem related to the soundcard built into the compaq laptops...
yannick, do you have any idea?
thanks in advance.

Are you aware of the ctfmon.exe problem? It sounds like that's what's bothering you... After (or just before) starting madtracker press ctrl+alt+del, go to the processes tab of the task manager look for 'ctfmon.exe', and click end process. This is an XP problem by the way, not laptop related. |
what is hip?
