Howcome the bpm counter is not precise? When i load some patterns into pro-tools they just dont match on bpm! loops from other programs do fit on the bpm grid of protools. Although its just a minor difference when you start copying the pattern the differnce will get bigger and bigger!! (The LPB is put on 8 in my tracks) ANYONE GOT THIS PROBLEM?? any sollution??

Maybe itīs because the displayed BPM of a song in madtracker is slightly different than the actual BPM.
When you place the mousecursor above the BPM-box, the real BPM will show up.
Example:
Displayed BPM: 135
actual BPM: 134,9449
Maybe you can change the BPM in Protools to the actual BPM of madtracker (Donīt know if you can alter the BPM of Protools that precise).
Another option would be a very precise time stretching-plugin, to change the BPM of youīre loops to the desired BPM in Protools.
Or maybe you can trigger the loop more often in protools, so the difference in BPM doesnīt become noticable. |

im a bit afraid...
will my previous songs be played correctly in a new MT? :/ i mean these ones with vocals or guitar solos recorded live... im afraid it wont... they are recorded according to "not accurate" BPM... |

If you use synchronized samples, you shouldn't have any problems. If not, the difference will be really subtle and should only introduce noticeable delay after minutes of playback.
