Hi,
I've read Inge's tutorial on VST plugins and I'm trying to use multitimbrality to get different sounds from one instance of a VST instrument. On page 4 of the tutorial:
http://www.madtracker.org/documents/vst.xml?page=4#title4
the Superwave P8 VST is being used for multitimbrality. I used this same VST (came with the 2.5.0 full package download) and assigned it to two different instruments using different channels but when I change the preset for one instrument, both instruments are changed.
Is my understanding of multitimbrality incorrect?
Thanks |

The Superwave P8 doesn't support multi-timbrality. We will update the screenshot to avoid further confusion.

OK cool, thanks for the info.
I've downloaded a couple VST instruments from the plugins list on this site which support multitimbrality and I'll check 'em out later.
Thanks
