I'm having trouble automating the modwheel of FM7. I can access hundreds of features from FM7 from the automation window, but I can't seem to find the modwheel. Any ideas anyone?

Ok, I have just found the solution to my own problem, so I might as well post it . The modwheel is in fact midi-controlled, so you first have to activate FM7's midi controller 1 (modulation), and then use madtracker's effect CC... This will probably work with all other Native Instruments plugins too...
So the question now remains: can I automate these madtracker effects, or is back to the FastTracker I era? (fasttracker II had an effect interpolation thingy I seem to remember) |

It's quite wierd, I would have sworn I could automate it from cubase and stuff, strange that madtracker doesn't pick it up, have you tried the control panel of the FM7?
But anyway you found a solution...

You need to do it in the old FT style, you can use shift+v to interpolate the effects column...
