Hi everyone,
I don't know about you guys, but I have like 100 pieces that I've started and have never finished.  That's why I haven't posted anything since my first tune back in late March, early April.
But I finally finished another one! It's another mainstream-style rock tune--hopefully not too similar to the last one. Stylistically, this one makes me think of Red Hot Chili Peppers (now that I think about it the beginning almost sounds too much like Under the Bridge...hmm...).
A couple of notes about the recording:
I redid the drum MT2 instruments that I used in the last one so that I could have more nuanced drumming. I also tried to make the drums sound a bit "punchier" in the mix. Not sure if I was successful.
The "wah" effect I used for the lead guitar (which doesn't come in until the guitar solo halfway through the song) didn't quite come through correctly when I exported to OGG. It seems to be the plugin, but I'm not sure what the problem is. It still sounds pretty good--at least good enough so that you should get the idea.
