Now, I was bored, and due to my lack-of-MT3, I decided to make something to distract myself.
Here's something you could see when MT3 is started up... Of course, knowing Geocities, they do not allow direct linking, so the only way I can show this eye candy is by displaying this link for you people to copy and paste into a browser (Just remember to take out the spaces):
http ://au .geocities .com/chicagolollie /mt3pic.jpg
Yeah yeah, I know, the removing-the-spaces thing is stupid, but it's the only way to get around Geocities' shitty server system |

But my Sydnie font mysteriously disappeared three days later... Anyone else had this problem? It's happening to a lot of people. |

File > New > 500x75 pixels
Select colors: black and dark grey
Filter > Render > Clouds
Filter > Stylize > Extrude
Filter > Pixelate > Fragment
(not completely sure on those two)
New text, dark yellow/orange: Madtracker3
Rightclick layer > Blending options
[x] Outer glow, white
[x] Bevel and Emboss
New text, black: http://www.madtracker.org Yannick Delwiche
Rightclick layer > Blending options
[x] Outer glow, white, spread 100, size 1
New text, white, tm
Yeah well that's about it |

Maybe it's not basic for you, but it sure is for me... maybe that's because I've been working with this kind of crap for the last three years |

File > New > 500x75 pixels
Yep
Select colors: black and dark grey
You'd think so. It was two different kinds of blue, but it may have well been black and dark grey.
Filter > Render > Clouds
Clouds and Difference Clouds, repeatedly
Filter > Stylize > Extrude
Filter > Pixelate > Fragment
(not completely sure on those two)
Nope I duplicated the clouds layer then used a Wave effect set on Square. Then I set the Square Wave layer blending to Soft Light.
New text, dark yellow/orange: Madtracker3
Smiley face yellow, actually
Rightclick layer > Blending options
[x] Outer glow, white
[x] Bevel and Emboss
Yep. Light position -144 for Bevel and Emboss would have given you extra points, but that's impossible to spot first hand.
But after that I duplicated that layer, took off the glow, set the Light position to +144, and set the layer blending to Soft Light to give it a metalic gold look
New text, black: http://www.madtracker.org Yannick Delwiche
Rightclick layer > Blending options
[x] Outer glow, white, spread 100, size 1
Size 3, and Outer glow blending to Exclude
New text, white, tm
I think that last one was a give away
All in all, good guesses, but looks can be decieving...
<(oO.)> *RAZZ!*

Three years with PhotoShop and you're.. how old?
I've been using it for three years and I'm going onto 16
If you use it full time, fair enough. I've got school to slow me down, and my main focus is anime... That doesn't explain my avarta, but oh well. |
