Yo people!

I finally have a 'real' (as in not hiphop) song finished again. You can download it here, or try to find it on my new website (appearantly the navigation isn't as obvious as I thought).

Would love to hear from you!

Walter

oh also, just quickly, listening over it, i find that there is no obvious bassline? but perhaps that's just my speakers being their usual lo-fi self..

Thnx guys!

I'm really happy you like it, since it's the first complete song i've done in maybe over a year already.

@ Mikx: Hmm, well there is a bassline, a quite funky one if i say myself, but it may have been my ultra hi fi speakers spoiling, maybe i'll try to mix some things again. I think the 'rhodes' (the plugin is supposed to be a rhodes, doesn't really sound like it though) might be interfering with the bassline. I really stilll think you should be able to hear it though. Especially in the last bit of the song, you should hear only drums and a bassline. I'll take another look at it though.

About remixing, I'm honored! Nobody has ever remixed a track by me (maybe because they used to suck quite a lot). So go right ahead! Very Happy

hmm yeah i bet its just my low quality speakers not putting out the subby bass that's meant to be there..

as for the remix, i'm up for it! just need the .mt2 and maybe some of the VSTs that you used, and i'll rework the track completely, give it a personal touch.. whenever you're ready Wink
