After the chainsong is said and done.

i had these ideas... interesting concepts.
(very rough concepts)

1. mini chainsong. (3-5 hours)

-each artist gets 15 minutes and as many tries during the chain then uploads to the next chainer.

- can add as many patterns as you can add in 15 mins.

? what do you think

also

2. Chain Remix.

-somebody makes a song.
-somebody remixes this song.
-somebody remixes the remix but.

- can only use elements from the remix meaning that the first remix would need enough elements to make a new song.

basic ideas.

for instance,

Axiom - NoN (Remix by Elijah aka PimpJuse)

the thing you cannot use is the vox. everything else was my addition. so the next MixChainer can use everything but the vocal tracks to make something that resembles my part of the Remix. you can also add whatever you like in order to portray the song your way.

? suggestions

the useage rules would be the same for all users. NO vst/ etc.

and axiom remix is avail for download in mt2 here. so if anybody wants to take it on. go on ahead.

[edit] dammit this capslock crap annoys me Razz

This mini-chain idea sounds interesting... Although, yes, one day sounds better.
Sure, it'll be "done in a month" rather than "done in a day", but there's gotta be some form of compensation for timezones.

The chain-remix... That would be much more difficult to work around, not to mention incredibly time consuming. It does sound interesting, though...

I have an other idea, that may be instresting: it愀 the same idea as with the madchain, but everyone starts a new song, and when they愉e finished, they send the song to the next person in a list. In this way, we would get many intresting tracks, but it might be hard to arrange if many peoble should parcipitate. Me and two of my friends tried this once, and it was very fun! Smile

Chances are it'd be a Sunday early next year, what with the chain still going and all. Neutral

EDIT: A question now that I think of it...
Words on VST? Yes? No? Maybe so?

Pray

Oh sure, sure. Just the easily available stuff.
I'd never think of using pirated VSTs. Angel

Couldn't you have just asked to have your name changed?

*shrug* Anyway, we really should wait until the chain is over, and see what everyone thinks of it.

And I still dunno about the chain remix. I like the mini-chain and the Pre-DJ ideas, but chain remix just doesn't seem logical. Confused
