Ah, no that's not the same thing, right? But Mozilla and Firefox are developed by the same developers, aren't they? |

Yes.
You have the product "Mozilla"... (which is just called "Mozilla" instead of "Mozilla Mozilla" ) which is the "large" version of the browser + mail client, etc.
Then you have "Mozilla Firefox" which is the lightweight browser developed by the Mozilla foundation.
And you have "Mozilla Thunderbird" which is the lightweight e-mail client (still in beta stage).

I see.. I installed Firefox now at least, seems nice as hell. I was very satisfied with Mozilla 1.7b, though there was some incompatible bugs in some HTML.. I'll see how this version works then

If you have downloaded Firefox 1.0 make sure that you use extensions compatable with this version.
You can find them HERE |

But it's the same engine as IE, so it's not secure by definition.

Backing up Yannick here. And Firefox has mouse gestures too (via an extension). Switch, my friend, switch

Popup blocking is built-in. You can also prevent from loading images from external sources (sort of ad-blocking) natively. But I guess you have an extension that do that as well.

Ok, I've switched to Mozilla Suite and Firefox. I've been meaning to for a couple years now but I keep forgetting. Also, I've answered by own question... the Mozilla Suite browser has no codename... seems as tho Firefox is a separate browser, but probably came from the Suite browser. This means that Mozilla has 2 separately distinct internet browsers, which was why it confused me in the first place. |

Go to 'tools'
click on 'options' and go to 'downloads' on the left of the window.
Here you can select a directory.
