 |
It is possible to record while playing in MT2 (i.e. you record a live guitar on your track). It's a friend of mine who showed me this. I was quite like "Damn! He almost knows the program better than me!"
The trick is simply to hit any "Play" key (song, pattern or loop) while the Recorder window is open.
When you open the Recorder window, MT2 disables the output. But it doesn't check if the output is activated again if you press a play key.

Cool! But does that mean the wave export is more or less not needed? You could just open the record window, hit play and record you tune that way? (of course it's neater to do it with the wave export, but still...) |

I meant for full-duplex recording... I.e. you sing while you play your tune.

PS: I changed subject/post to make it a little bit more clear. |
